Pro Touring L 5W-30 is a high-performance mid SAPS fuel economy fully synthetic engine oil formulated for modern gasoline and light duty diesel engines.  Suitable for use in TGDI and CRDi (Hyundai, Kia), CDI or CRD(Mercedes), CDTi (FIAT), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), range extended electric vehicles (REEV), battery-assisted hybrid vehicles (BAHV), Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) and all other vehicles operating under severe urban conditions where “Stop-Start” modes are typical.  Complies with the latest emission regulations of Euro VI.  Outstanding wear protection and soot control in extended oil drain intervals. Protects engines from low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) occurrence or premature engine knocks.

Pro Touring L 5W-30 is enhanced with unique anti-friction technology, ZFMTM (Zero Friction Molecular), to considerably reduce friction and wear of highly loaded engine parts that are exposed to intensive duty cycles and high operating temperatures.  Excellent oil film thickness and highly shear stable to ensure long term protection in powerful engines.

Pro Touring L 5W-30 meets or exceeds the OEM’s warranty requirements of gasoline and diesel vehicles where API SP or ACEA C3 or ACEA C2 oil is required.  TOTACHI® guarantees full compliance on the written specifications indicated on product labels.

ACEA C2 and C3 are both engine oil specifications that are used in vehicles with aftertreatment systems. They both have mid SAPS levels, but C3 has a higher high temperature/high shear (HT/HS) viscosity.

ACEA C2

• Designed for use in passenger cars and light duty gasoline and diesel engines
• Has a minimum HTHS viscosity of 2.9 mPa·s
• Low-friction oil with a sulfated ash content lower than 0.8%
• Recommended for use in vehicles with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and 3-way catalytic converters (TWC)

ACEA C3

• Designed for use in diesel engines with DPFs and gasoline engines with 3-way catalytic converters and gasoline particulate filters
• Has a minimum HTHS viscosity of 3.5 mPa·s
• Low-friction oil with a sulfated content lower than 0.8%
• Suitable for use in high-performance direct injection (DI) diesel engines

C2 oils may provide better fuel economy than C3 oils, but they may not offer the same protection levels.

C2 and C3 oils are not usually interchangeable depending on the application.
